DVD, UMD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Pre-Mastering

Mercury is one of the pioneers in DVD production. She is the first in Asia, outside Japan, to offer DVD pre-mastering service when DVD was released in the early 1990s.

Her staff was trained extensively in Warner Advanced Media Operations (WAMO), now Cinram, when DVD was first introduced.

Mercury continues to send her staff to GDMX Inc. for training in all aspects of DVD, HD-DVD and BD Disc pre-mastering.

Mercury provides the following services that met with the most stringent quality requirements of all the major movie Studios:

Electronic Digital Delivery

Mercury is able to delivery final disc images worldwide through highly secured internet connection via the proprietary Aspera protocol.

With a 20mbps connection, she is able to push the image to anywhere in the world. Depending on the bandwidth of the replicating plant, we can deliver authored DVD 9 disc image to the USA in less than 4 hours.

We are delivering disc images electronically to replicating plants in Shanghai, China, Bangkok, Thailand and Taipei, Taiwan.

Using this electronic delivery via the internet, we are able to turnaround projects that surpasses quality of pre-mastering houses located locally in our clients' countries in a very secured environment and at very competitive pricing.
